Unified communications and protection solutions for financial institution

The building of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Macedonia has 14.000 square meters distributed over 11 floors with more than 500  employees. It is an exceptionally functional object which is entirely energy  efficient. Modern smart building aimed to save energy and protect the environment. The building itself houses a modern press center, a conference hall and a modern computer room system that allows uninterrupted operation of the Ministry of Finance, particularly of the Treasury and Budget, the two vital sectors of the payment system and the state.

Replacement of the old traditional communication system with a sin­gle but fully redundant platform which delivers world-class business IP telephony and Unified messaging, enabled to support advanced multimedia collaboration applications and mobile services for future expansion.
Enhancement of the data infrastructure with new stackable PoE switches for floor distribution and aggregation site capable of servi­cing voice, data and video-ready communications solution for up to 500 employees and around 1000 devices, providing reliable but at the same time flexible IT infrastructure for management of complex data and voice services with multitude of applications.
Cost control and advances centralized management of the whole sys­tem.

To achieve a fully integrated communications platform, a networking and communication solution by Alcatel-Lucent was implemented for more than 500 users in the main Ministry building.
